The Empty Vessel Soundscape which the film is edited to is a sound piece by Mark St.John Ellis that was due to be installed in Cavan Cathedral on a loop and an extended version to be in the grounds of St Mary’s Abbey, Cavan during the 2020 Cavan Arts Festival scheduled for May but cancelled due to the Covid 19 Virus. Cavan County Council Arts Office, Cavan Arts have responded by supporting filming and editing of visuals of this abridged work which has become a piece of music to go Online as a pilot. Subsequently the project has become one of the recipients of the Covid 19 Response grant awarded by the Arts Council of Ireland. This funding will go to the filming and editing of the second part with the recording and editing of additional vocals by the early music singer Caitriona O'Leary to the music.
