Award winning potter Geoffrey Healy makes hand thrown ceramic pieces in his workshop and studio in the Rocky Valley, Co. Wicklow.  Geoffrey studied in the United Kingdom and Japan before setting up the studio in Wicklow in 1992. He is quoted to say that he makes works that nourish at a deep level while pursuing an energetic beauty.  The creative director of nag Gallery saw one of Geoffrey's Moonjars exhibited in the Ceramics Ireland Exhibition at Farmleigh in 2015 and invited him to show in the gallery flagship event 'Shibui '.

Geoffrey only shows his Moonjars with nag Gallery particularly as they are part of a demonstration of the gallery interest in a reduced aesthetic taking forms that join the concepts of art and design.
