Pertiwi’s practice is an expression of spiritual awakening. She looks to the Divine within and beyond to create sculptural drawings that anchor high vibration. The works evolve through a meditative process with careful consideration given to the materials. Bees wax, silk, cotton, pollen, rubber, pigment, marble and sugar form works that are delicate and fragile despite the innate strength within the materials themselves. Pertiwi chooses not to force the materials, she observes and encourages their natural movement resulting in quiet works of beauty.
